Amtrak RS-3 #144 was originally New York, New Haven & Hartford #554, built by Alco in January 1952. It later became Penn Central #5593 and then Amtrak #144 in 1976. It was sold off in late 1985 so this shot represents a late in Amtrak service life photo.

Overall good condition. Signs of corner, edge, and surface wear consistent with age and gentle handling. Item as pictured.
