Large vintage-style framed firehouse sign reading “HOOK & LADDER CO. NO. 41.” Features a bright red wood sign panel with metallic-gold lettering, black outlines, and a substantial black-and-gold wood frame.
Measures approximately 60” long x 12” high x 1.5” overall thickness. The sign panel itself is approximately 1/2” thick, with the frame approximately 1” thick. Weighs approximately 11 lb 8 oz.
Exact maker and age are unknown. Construction, finish, and overall appearance are consistent with an older decorative firehouse/firefighter display piece.
Used condition with age and display wear throughout. Frame has scratches, scuffs, finish wear, and small areas of loss. Sign face has several small holes/marks from previous mounting or display. Reverse has substantial surface scratching and old mounting holes. Please review all photos closely for condition.
