Large framed vintage firehouse-style sign reading “HOOK & LADDER CO. NO. 175.” Features a bright red wood sign panel with metallic-gold lettering, black outlines, and a substantial black-and-gold wood frame.
Measures approximately 60” long x 12” high x 1.5” overall thickness. The sign panel itself is approximately 1/2” thick, with the frame approximately 1” thick. Weighs approximately 11 lb 8 oz.
Exact maker and age are unknown. Based on the construction, materials, finish, and overall appearance, it is being listed as vintage rather than as a modern reproduction.
Used condition with visible age and display wear throughout. Frame has scratches, scuffs, finish wear, and small nicks. Sign face has several small holes/marks from previous mounting or display. Reverse shows substantial scratching, staining/marks, surface wear, and old mounting holes. Please review all photos closely for condition.
