Own a piece of Marvel history.
During the early-to-mid 1990s, several regional novelty manufacturers and vending suppliers produced unauthorized or \"test market\" runs of popular comic book characters. Instead of traditional card stock, these companies printed the prismatic foil directly onto heavy-duty photographic paper stock sourced from Kodak.
While technically classified by collectors as vintage \"bootlegs\" or unofficial arcade/vending machine inserts rather than official Impel or Fleer base sets, the Kodak-backed variations are highly collectible in their own right. Due to their unique manufacturing origin and lower production numbers compared to mass-produced retail sets, they are actively sought after by nostalgic 90s Marvel collectors.
