Vintage 1985 Hand Painted Ceramic Persian Cat Figurine 10\" Folk Art Kitschy For Sale

This large hand-painted ceramic Persian-style cat figurine is dated 1985 on the bottom and appears to be a classic hobby-ceramic mold piece. With its fluffy molded fur, bright amber eyes, dramatic eyelashes, little tongue sticking out and wonderfully quirky expression, this cat has loads of vintage personality.

The glossy white ceramic has hand-painted facial details in black, burgundy, pink and golden yellow. At approximately 10\" tall x 6\" wide, it\'s a substantial display piece and would be fantastic in a collection of vintage cats, kitschy décor, retro ceramics or one-of-a-kind folk-art pieces.

Condition: Great vintage condition overall. There is age-related crazing to the glaze and a small area of yellow paint on the underside/base, along with minor vintage wear. No major damage noted. Please see photos for the best representation of condition.
