**VINTAGE 1982 STAR WARS "SIGMA THE TASTESETTER" CERAMIC MUG SET OF 4 WITH ORIGINAL BOX**
Up for sale is an incredibly rare, vintage 1982 Star Wars ceramic coffee mug set produced by the high-end ceramic manufacturer Sigma (The Tastesetter) in Japan. Finding these mugs individually is tough, but finding an intact set of four complete with the original factory-stamped cardboard divider box is exceptionally rare for collectors!
Each mug is hand-decorated with vibrant wrap-around graphics showcasing dynamic pairs of iconic characters from the original trilogy:- Mug 1: Chewbacca & Boba Fett- Mug 2: Darth Vader & Princess Leia (Captured at the Death Star)- Mug 3: Luke Skywalker & Yoda- Mug 4: R2-D2 & C-3PO
**Condition Details:**- Mugs: Pristine unused vintage condition. The ceramic is glossy and the hand-painted graphics remain incredibly vibrant. There are no chips, cracks, or coffee stains. Original bottom stickers and Lucasfilm Ltd. branding stamps are intact on the base.- Box: Includes the original outer cardboard storage box with internal dividers. Shows minor, expected shelf-wear and light aging consistent with its 40+ year history, but the text ink stamping ("273 5245 310 STAR WARS MUGS SET/4 JAPAN") remains clean and highly legible.
