Vintage 1981-1984 USAF Aviano Italy 40th Tactical Group Farewell Plaque 9” For Sale

Vintage United States Air Force farewell plaque from Aviano Air Base, Italy, dating from the Cold War era, 1981–1984. Features a raised metal map of Italy with Aviano marked in northern Italy and a military unit-style emblem. Personalized brass plate reads “Calvin F. Hill, 23 Feb 1981–27 Feb 1984, So-Long, Merc, Good Luck.”

Measures approximately 9 inches tall by 7 inches wide. The metal medallion measures approximately 5.5 inches in diameter. Pre-owned vintage condition with scratches, surface wear, patina and marks consistent with age. Please review all photos carefully.
