Vintage 1978  Eric Brakken Glasshouse Studio Signed Iridescent Dogwood Art Glass For Sale

collector-quality vintage studio art glass paperweight hand-blown by renowned artist Eric Brakken for The Glasshouse Studio (Seattle, Washington) during the late 1980s.

This exceptional piece features an intricately detailed, vibrant pink multi-petaled Dogwood flower suspended over a deep, dark background. The glass possesses a stunning iridescent luster that reflects brilliant metallic flashes of blue, gold, and purple when rotated in the light. This signature iridescent sheen was famously achieved by the studio during this era by incorporating genuine volcanic ash from the 1980 eruption of Mount St. Helens into the glass melt.
