Vintage 1964–1969 Era ADT (American District Telegraph) Security Sign featuring the classic red-and-white “Electric Protection Services” design.
This is for a total of two signs.
This vintage metal security sign was originally used to identify homes and commercial properties monitored by ADT, one of America’s well-known security service companies. A great piece of mid-century advertising memorabilia for collectors of vintage signs, security collectibles, and Americana.
Hollywood Trivia – The Godfather Part II (1974)
A similar ADT security monitoring sign can be spotted at the Lake Tahoe compound gate in The Godfather Part II, around the 2:06 mark. The scene has become an interesting movie-history talking point because the film’s storyline takes place decades earlier than the era associated with this style of ADT branding.
