Vintage1962 QUILLEN JOHNS TRANSPARENCIES American History Maps & Guide
An AMAZING vintage educational tool from A.J. Nystrom &Co., featuring overhead projector transparencies on the subject of Americanhistory as told through stunning full-color Quillen-Johns maps, each measuring 8¾”x 11”. Sadly, the series is only 90%complete with 27 of 30 transparencies, missing numbers 19, 25 & 29(see photo for map table of contents). While limited by the number of photosavailable, I scanned the majority of the transparencies and portions of the Teacher’sGuide to give you a great idea of what you’re getting. Condition of thetransparencies are good, but do exhibit micro-scratches/handling wear, but arestill bright & 100% legible. The Teacher’s Guide does show normalshelf/handling wear to cover, but absolutely NO internal markings, notations,highlighting or underlining of any kind! The guide and all transparencies arethree-hole punched, but I believe that’s the way they were originallymanufactured. ALL photos/scans are of the ACTUAL items you will receive and arethe best indicator of condition, but you will not be disappointed!

The included teacher’s guide provides material whichwill aid in using the Quillen-Jones American history maps more effectively withpupils. A detailed description, giving the historical background and the maingeographic features, is provided for each map. This description is followed byquestions and suggested activities based on the information provided in thedescriptions and on the maps themselves.”
