Vintage 1960-70s Greek Flag w/ Gold Fringe Trim, "ΗΛΙΑΣ ΚΟΥΚΟΥΝΗΣ" Label AHEPA For Sale

This is a vintage commemorative flag most likely between 1960s and early 1970s. This flag belonged to John Polydouris who was a prominent member and District Governor of AHEPA(American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association) representing NY state for decades, out of the Albany Capital District region. The flag maker is the most famous in Greece, Elias Kokkonis. Kokkonis has historically been the primary provider of flags for Greek ministries, embassies, military branches, and official venues, flags featuring this specific embroidered or woven label were typically produced for official governmental display, upscale organizations, or institutional use rather than common residential decoration.
