Authentic working Hunter Zephair Type C-16, Catalog No. 265, manufactured by Hunter Fan & Ventilating Co., Memphis, Tennessee, circa 1946–1949. Large 16” blade model measuring approximately 18” across × 22” tall.
Features four brass/gold-tone metal blades, distinctive wire safety cage with embossed HUNTER / ZEPHAIR badges, heavy black metal pedestal base and rounded motor housing. Identification plate shows Cat. No. 265, Serial P552986, 110–120V, 60 cycles, 0.75 amps, Made in U.S.A.
Tested and working. Displays substantial authentic age-related patina, oxidation, finish wear, scratches and surface marks consistent with an approximately 75–80-year-old fan. Braided electrical cord has a Globe-marked component.
Excellent statement piece for a serious vintage fan collection, industrial loft, office, workshop, retail display or high-end machine-age décor.
