Vintage 1940-50's Lighted Tinsel Tabletop Christmas Tree Lighted Base 17" Tall For Sale

For sale is a Vintage Mid-Century Lighted Tinsel Tabletop Christmas Tree from the late 1940's to mid-fifties. It has been in our family as long as I can remember and my recollection is that my mother said it was purchased in the late 40's.It is a beautiful, authentic mid-century tabletop tinsel Christmas tree that is 17 inches tall. It is a classic wire-frame design featuring tinsel green woven directly through a sturdy metal framework, The tree sits on a beige base that appears to be plaster. The light in the base shines through the fixed lights on the tree. The tinsel is in very good condition. It is still bright green and full. The cord has been replaced at some time and appears to be in very good working order. It comes with a miniature string of ornaments that is not original, but it adds a nice decorative touch to it if you chose to use them. It does not come with a light bulb. Please see photos for details.
