Vintage (1939-1952) 15 Piece Hammersley Victorian Violets Fluted, Gold Trim
The product is a vintage 15 piece set of Hammersley Victorian violets fluted plates with gold trim. Made of bone china in England, these plates feature a Victorian style design with a beautiful purple color. This collectible set is perfect for adding a touch of elegance to any table setting, especially for those who appreciate vintage and unique dinnerware pieces.
The set is vintage Hammersley Victorian Violets hand painted cups(6) and snack plate(6), and (1) sandwich tray. The pattern features a delicate purple violet floral pattern. Fine bone china with scalloped edges, accented with gold trim. The cups have an elegantly curved handle and fluted shape. The snack plates are designed with a slightly indented area for secure placement of the cup.
The mark on the bases (The Victorian Violets from England's Countryside) is specific to the Victorian Violets line, which was produced by Hammersley from 1939-1952. This was prior to being acquired by Copeland/Spode.
Excellent vintage used condition. No chips, cracks, or crazing seen. Hand wash only.
