Patent No. 2,076,704 is associated with this early style of Tufboy measuring tape and helps date examples to approximately the 1930s era.
Approximately 3 inches wide at the case based on the measurement shown in the photos.
The steel blade shows noticeable age-related oxidation, staining and surface wear. The metal housing has scratches and patina consistent with age. Original graphics remain present and display nicely.
