SPECTACULAR LUXURY VOGT BRAND VINTAGE STERLING SILVER, GOLD AND RED GEMS SPIKED DOG COLLAR.Does your dog deserve the very best of everything? Then this vintage, pre-owned, luxury, custom made spiked dog collar leather belt and buckle set belongs around his or her neck. The leather belt and main buckle pieces are VOGT brand…..a very high end silversmith maker that produced their products mostly in Mexico. The main buckle is signed and stamped “VOGT, Sterling .925, 14K Gold Fill, Handmade in Old Mexico”. It has a gold longhorn steer and high detail hand engraving. It measures 2” x 1 7/8” and has an opening to be used with belt straps up to 7/8” wide. The two keepers also have 7/8” openings. The end piece is stamped “Sterling, 1/10 10K”. It has two tone gold filled accents and measures 1 3/4” long by about 3/4” wide. It has an opening to accept belts up to 5/8” wide. The 5 accent plates attached to the outside of the belt are firmly secured with screws and measure about 1 1/4” x 1 1/4”. Each of the 4 chrome spikes are also secured firmly with screws. NOTE….The red gem stones contained in the buckle pieces AND gold accent plates on this buckle set have tested as being authentic gem stones in the ruby range on our Presidium gem tester. We do not know if they are lab created or natural, but they are genuine gems (7 in total).
The belt itself is very heavy duty, hand tooled leather, and stamped as a VOGT brand as well. It measures about 24 inches from tip to tip, not including the belt buckle pieces. There are 6 holes to adjust the size around a dogs neck. The neck size varies from 20 inches around on the smallest size hole to 25 1/2 inches around the neck at the largest and furthest hole setting……so this set is definitely made for a very LARGE dog. The belt shows minor signs of use, but not excessive signs of use…..it has been worn some, but not a whole lot.
