VTG Morris & Bendien Reverse Painted Convex Glass Lady Lithograph Art Deco 8x6 For Sale

Vintage Morris & Bendien decorative portrait featuring an elegant red-haired woman in a flowing yellow gown surrounded by a romantic garden scene. This is reverse-painted black decoration on the convex glass. Ornate wrought-iron-style scrollwork, foliage and a hanging garden element are painted on the reverse of the glass and overlay the colorful printed portrait beneath, creating a beautiful dimensional effect. The gently bowed convex glass is set in a striped gold-tone metal frame with a dusty rose/pink mat. The combination of the pastel portrait, dramatic black reverse-painted details and aged gold frame gives the piece a distinctive Art Deco / vintage glamour appearance.

This picture measures approximately 8” H x 6” W. Dark backing with metal hanging loop for wall display.
