VTG Mechanical Wooden Human Hand Fingers Tap Steampunk Folk Art Oddities 1979 For Sale

Up for sale is a vintage mechanical wooden automata sculpted to look like a human hand. When the crank is turned, the wooden fingers tap in sequence, as though the hand is waiting impatiently. This sculpture is in very good pre-owned vintage condition and works well. The bottom is marked "George Bacon 838 Chartres St. New Orleans, LA 70110". This piece measures 2" high, 4.5" wide, and 8.625" deep. Don't miss out on the opportunity to add this piece to your collection.
Here is a gift for the person who has everything, because chances are they do not have a vintage wooden hand mechanized so the fingers tap when you turn the crank. This is a piece of folk art, and I've found very few that are similar. This piece, by contrast, really does want a new home, having belonged to someone who has a thing for unique puzzles and folk art from all over the world. The perfect gift for the person in your life who loves hands, or who loves mechanized folk art toys.
