Vintage Limoges France S.S. Oceanic Winter 1980 Porcelain Serving/Vanity Tray
Beautiful vintage Limoges France porcelain tray commemorating the S.S. Oceanic’s Winter 1980 cruise season.
This elegant rectangular tray features a lovely multicolor floral bouquet with pink roses, blue and yellow flowers, green foliage and delicate floral sprays at each end. The tray has beautifully shaped handles with gilt/gold accents along the edges.
The reverse is marked “Limoges France” and includes the markings “Winter 1980” and “Rehaussé Main.”
Rehaussé Main indicates that the decoration has been enhanced by hand, adding hand-applied detail to the floral design.

The S.S. Oceanic was Home Lines’ flagship and sailed Caribbean cruises during the Winter 1980–81 season. Contemporary cruise material confirms the ship’s Winter 1980–81 Caribbean cruise program from New York.
CONDITION:
Very good vintage condition overall. Please examine all photographs carefully as they are an important part of the description. There may be minor signs of age/use consistent with a vintage porcelain piece, including possible light surface wear or wear to the gilt detailing.
No major chips, cracks or repairs are apparent from my inspection/photos. Please see photographs for the exact condition and markings.
A lovely piece for a Limoges collector, cruise-ship memorabilia collector, porcelain enthusiast, or lover of vintage floral pieces.

📏 MEASUREMENTS
I’d put:
Approximately 16” long × 6” wide
But please measure yours before listing and replace that with your exact measurement. One matching listing gives 16” × 6”, while another similar 1980 Oceanic tray is listed at 14.75” × 5.5”, so there are apparently multiple sizes/styles associated with this Oceanic dinnerware/memorabilia.
