Vintage hand-forged iron cross pendant from the Abbey of Regina Laudis,the Benedictine monastery in Bethlehem, Connecticut. Substantial handmadeconstruction with a dark aged patina and visible hand-worked character. A metalsuspension ring allows the cross to be worn from a cord, leather necklace or chain.A rare and distinctive piece of American monastic craftsmanship, made bythe cloistered nuns at the Abbey of Regina Laudis.Original Abbey identification label remains attached to the reverse.Condition: Excellent condition, great patina.
