📦 Condition
Vintage pre-owned condition.
The main scene remains highly detailed and visually appealing; however, this piece has age-related damage and losses to some of the extremely delicate cork elements. Several small branches, foliage pieces, landscape details and other fragile components are broken, missing, or no longer fully attached.
The black base shows surface scratches/wear consistent with age and previous display. The glass may also have minor surface wear, dust, or age-related cloudiness.
Please carefully examine all photos, as the pictures are an important part of the condition description and show the exact piece you will receive.
🏮 Collector Display Piece
A great decorative piece for collectors of Chinese folk art, Asian antiques/vintage décor, cork carvings, miniature dioramas, pagodas, architectural miniatures, or unusual vintage collectibles.
The intricate carving and miniature landscape make this especially interesting as a display piece or conversation item.
Please note: I am describing this as a vintage Chinese/Fuzhou-style cork carving based on its construction and design. There is no visible maker’s mark or documentation establishing a specific artist, workshop, or exact production year.
