This lovely collector\'s mug from the Chespeake and Ohio Railroad / C&O Railway, features the adorable, sleeping kitten mascot, Chessie. This tabby kitten was first featured in \"Fortune\" magazine in an advertisement for the railway with \"Sleep Like a Kitten\" as it\'s logo. C&O officially became the Chessie System in 1973 and still operates under this name today. The sleeping \"Chessie\" remains their logo/mascot. A perfect gift for the railroad enthusiast in your life - or cat lover! Chessie is a beloved image!This mug is in excellent pre-owned, pre-loved condition. There are no cracks, no chips, no breaks. The Chessie image and printed information on the back of the mug show minimal to no signs of wear. The mug is white with lovely shades of butter yellow, pink, gray and black.
