These are the original Cambridge Glass Co. American Bald Eagle bookends. Not the later reproduction copies by the Imperial Glass Co.The identification of the original Cambridge 30's ~ 40's American Bald Eagle bookends is accomplished from the measurements. These are approximately 6 inches tall to the tip of the tallest wing on the figurine bookend, whereas the Imperial Glass Co. copy is approximately 5" tall to the tip of the tallest wing. These original Cambridge Glass Co. American Bald Eagle bookends are approximately 4 1/2 inches wide by 4 inches long at the pedestal or base.
These are very detailed with talons, feathers on the wings and beak.
They were not easy to photograph as they are so clear.
