Fair vintage condition with wear consistent with age: The lid is not connected to the body, but the original hinge is intact. There is some residual glue on the lid. The hinge rolls well. A bit of cleaning and glue will likely have this back to original working condition. I just don\'t have the time to make the repair right now. Original paint shows chips, scratches and crackling; wood interior is clean.
