Vintage GB Lager Beer lighted advertising sign dating to approximately the early 1960s, with a bold red and burgundy shield design featuring the GB initials and the slogan “Master Brewers 100 Years.”
The sign measures approximately 18.5” tall x 14” wide and has a dimensional molded plastic face. The red, burgundy, white and gold graphics show especially well when illuminated. The “Master Brewers 100 Years” slogan is documented on GB Lager advertising from the early 1960s, including a 1962 Cleveland-Sandusky Brewing Co. GB Lager bottle.
The sign is working and lights properly.
Condition: Nice overall vintage condition with some age-related wear. There is discoloration/yellowing to portions of the plastic, most noticeable when viewed closely or when the sign is unlit. There is also a small crack near the top of the plastic housing, as shown in the close-up photo. The crack does not appear to affect the structural integrity or overall display. The plastic housing otherwise shows light normal surface wear consistent with age and use.
