This listing includes both the original custom-engraved bronze medal and its original vintage presentation box.
Obverse (Front): Features the detailed official seal of the Grand Lodge of New York.
Reverse (Back): Professionally engraved: "AWARDED TO BROTHER HERMANN STRATMANN / RAISED APR. 5, 1899 / ANNO LUCIS 5949".
Calendar Note: The Masonic date Anno Lucis 5949 accurately pinpoints the presentation of this medal to the calendar year 1949, celebrating exactly 50 years of devotion to the craft.
• The original sky-blue silk ribbon is in stable vintage condition with minor age-related fading. The original bronze palm leaf milestone attachment is securely attached across the center of the ribbon. The bronze medallion shows a beautiful, natural aged patina with highly crisp, readable engraving.
Presentation Box: Includes the original vintage clamshell presentation case with a black velvet interior bed. Please note there is a visible age/storage stain on the white fabric liner inside the upper lid of the box, as shown in the photos. The box hinges work properly.
