Estate find...a vintage 1940s-era WW2 US Navy Towel, made into childs bathrobe, UNIQUE!
It is a cotton material, has some old stains in a few areas, and a few material thread *snags*, missing the waist belt , but all in all a very interesting item!
Probably brought home by Navy veteran, and made into a child's robe! It has the distinct blue US NAVY mark . I'm not sure if another towel was used to add the arms, etc, or if the whole robecwas fashioned from 1 towel??
