VTG 1930’s Celluloid Hair Catcher- Vanity Table Accessory. Approx 3.25” Dia For Sale

This vintage 1930\'s celluloid hair catcher is a charming vanity table accessory. With a diameter of approximately 3.25 inches and a height of 2” this collectible item is made of celluloid plastic also known as French Ivory. It adds a touch of nostalgia to any dressing or vanity set. Used by ladies in the early 1900’s to collect loose hair from brushes to save for later use to stuff pin cushions, create ornamental hair art or even to leave outside for birds to use in building nests, and this retro piece is both functional and stylish. This belonged to my grandmother who was born in 1898 and started raising children in 1931.
