I was gifted this figurine by my 87 year old mother some time back. I don\'t know anything about it - in researching it I only found 1 figurine that looked similar. Here is the info I found connected with that one:
Vintage Mid-Century Japanese Geisha Figurine | Faux-Ivory Resin Okimono
Mid-to-late 20th-century piece beautifully captures the grace and artistry of traditional Japanese decorative craft.
The figurine depicts a geisha holding a ribbed chōchin lantern, adorned in an intricately etched wafuku robe featuring classical floral motifs and geometric kikkō (tortoise-shell) patterns. Each fine engraving is hand-tinted with black, muted green, and coral pigments to create a delicate scrimshaw-like effect, finished with a warm, natural aged patina.

Please do your own research on this item as I am not an expert on Japanese figurines and am merely quoting what someone else said about a similar figurine :)
