Up for sale is a highly collectible and rare Vintage Master Comrade Missionary Volunteer (MV) Lapel Pin. This piece of history comes from the early youth leadership program of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, which later evolved into today's Pathfinder Club.
Because the church officially changed the title from "Master Comrade" to "Master Guide" in 1951 due to Cold War political connotations, pins featuring the original "Comrade" text are exceptionally rare and highly sought after by church history enthusiasts.
• Front: Striking blue enamel octagonal border with a raised gold-tone central globe. Features the clear text "MASTER" and "COMRADE" with the classic "M" and "V" side emblems.
• Back: Features authentic vintage hardware with a safety-catch pin. Displays a beautiful, natural aged brass patina. There is a light, vintage hand-scratched initials marking on the reverse, adding unique historical character.
The pin closure is functional and looks sturdy and solid.
• Condition: Good vintage condition with crisp enamel and standard age-related wear/oxidation as shown in photos. Please review the detailed images carefully to judge the exact condition for yourself.
A fantastic addition to any religious, youth organization, or vintage medal collection!
