A spectacular Mid Century example of Enamel on Copper creation from Sascha Brastoff. Designed in he 1960s, this "onion" shaped piece is designed in an olive green tone with aqua and cream flowers and leaves adorning the center. The reverse is speckled black. The front is signed with the traditional "Sascha B" mark. Perfect dish/tray for trinkets, or sweets or as a decor accent. Measures nearly 6" in diameter.
In surprisingly nice condition for it's age. Virtually no signs of use or storage. As is expected from these lovely pieces, there is a tiny enamel flake on the rim (see photo). This does not detract from this unique piece.
