Hello. I am so pleased to be offering a delightful vintage I. W. Rice Irice mod blonde teen lipstick holder and soap/trinket dish set from my own personal collection.
They are very hard to find together and in any condition.
They are popular pieces.
They are highly sought after by and coveted among new and seasoned collectors alike.Lipstick Holder
The lipstick holder has no cracks, crazing, paint loss, scratches, or repairs.
It is mostly clean on the outside except for some surface dirt on the base.
It is also mostly clean inside of the lipstick holes except for a bit of dust.
There is a small factory indentation on the left front edge of the teen's hair and another one on the left edge next to the first lipstick opening.On the deep inside edges of the holes, there are some rough areas which occurred during production.
There is a tiny nick at the base edge by the stem of the first flower on the back.
On the back base ring near the edge, there are a small shallow chip and a minute nick.
On the base hole, there are two flea bites on the top edge and one small chip on the bottom edge.
At the back base edge by the right flower stem, there is a medium-sized area which was pushed up during production; it is not a chip.All of the noted factory flaws occurred during production, are under the glaze, and are not considered to be damage.
So the only real issues are the two tiny nicks, two small chips, and two flea bites - all but one of which are on the base and invisible when the item is upright.
The piece is in very good vintage condition.The base is marked with the entire original foil label which says I. W. RICE & CO, INC MADE IN JAPAN AN Irice IMPORT.
Its dimensions are 5-1/2" h x 4" w x 3-1/4" d.
Soap/Trinket Dish
The dish has no chips, cracks, crazing, paint loss, scratches, or repairs.
It is mostly clean, inside and out, except for some surface dirt on the base ring.
It has a small factory indentation on the top left edge and a medium-sized one inside of the bowl.
It is in mint condition.The base is marked with the entire original foil label which says I. W. RICE & CO, INC MADE IN JAPAN AN Irice IMPORT.
Its dimensions are 4-1/8" h x 5-1/2" w x 5" d.The two pieces display beautifully together and are sure to make you smile.
