Everyone needs a SAK
Purchased this for my son as his first knife and he is absolutely over the moon. I was glad to see that the quality of the SAK is just as good as I remembered it when I was growing up. I'm considering buying myself one now, just for nostalgia's sake.

This is the classic Swiss Army Knife. After 20 years and a lot of use I replaced my original. Hope to get the same longevity out if this one.

Comimg back to an old friend
this was constant companion while in boy scouts. I learned how to put an edge on with this knife model. Now I'm 50 and after seeing how all the multi-tools seem to be getting steadily more "tacticool" and cheaper in build quality, decided to go back to this. I'm glad I did. Only wish it had a gut hook blade. I do appreciate the tactical corkscrew. It's relatively light, so you can put in a pocket of your hiking pants and it won't bother you due to the rounded edges.

Works Very Well!
I am unsure exactly why, but I did not have high expectations for a pocket multi-tool from Swiss Army. In the end, I was ended up being very surprised how functional, sturdy, and light weight this thing really is. I've used most of the tools already and they all work great. When I take it out hiking, I usually keep it in one of my backpack hip pockets so that it's a little more out of the way, but I have also easily clipped this to a carabiner to my belt. Highly recommended if you're looking for a small functional multi-tool.

SAK “Huntsman” Knife
Purchased as a birthday gift and fortunately REI was the only retailer that had one in stock. Another great reason to be a co-op member. SAK makes one of the finest knives available and always top quality as well as value.

Love the sawblade!
I really am glad to have this knife. It wads important to me to get a folding knife that among other things also had a sawblade available. I certainly don't see myself going out and cutting a big pile of wood with this blade, but I can think of a number of times that I wish I had a short little sawblade for cutting a small piece of wood or two while out and about. Naturally, it is a high quality productd and fits nicely in my pocket. I'm also pleased to have the hook as one of the tools--I wondered what I would use it for, but now whenever I pick up a hot pot or need to grab some twine and pull I use this tool instead of my bare hands and it just works great.
