Up for sale is an old, 100% original emergency telephone call box. This is a true museum-grade survivor, featuring bold raised lettering for \"TELEPHONE\" across the top arch and crisp \"POLICE\", \"FIRE\", and \"EMERGENCY\" graphics on the front and sides.
I can honestly say this is the most MINT one I\'ve ever seen. It is in really good shape, showing fantastic vibrant red paint, incredibly clean decals, and a pristine interior.
CRITICAL VALUE NOTE FOR COLLECTORS:
The vast majority of these boxes listed online are completely hollowed-out, empty shells. This box is 100% complete with all the original internal \"guts\" intact. Furthermore, unlike other weathered examples online that are missing hardware, this unit still includes the substantial, heavy rear mounting bracket attached to the back.
As you can see in the provided photos, the internal components are remarkably well-preserved. It features the original black handset and a distinct, completely intact \"BELL SYSTEM\" metal tag inside. You will not find another survivor this clean, complete, and structurally sound.

Make no mistake—this piece is heavy. It\'s built like a tank out of thick, heavy cast metal. I put it directly on a scale to verify the weight for you. It is pushing over 27 lbs raw, and once safely boxed up with heavy-duty protective packing material, it will be up to 30 pounds total. I took a picture of the scale to be completely transparent so you know exactly why the calculated shipping costs are what they are for a heavy casting of this caliber.
