The flag maker, JJ Turner Canvas Company, Peterborough Ontario Canada, supplied factory machine sewn nautical Union Jack flags to both the CNI which turned into the RCN in 2011. Company later became JJ Turner & Son; have included Peterborough Historical Society photo of advertisement. Dimensionally 4.50ft by 2.25ft. 31 individual 1-ply red, white and blue individual pieces sewn onto thick 2-ply headband. Provenance of this flag the RCN convoy ship The Margaret WW1 (1914-18).
