Calling all LEGO BIONICLE collectors! Up for sale/sale is a massive, premium lot of original BIONICLE comic books. This collection spans the golden eras of Mata Nui, Metru Nui, Voya Nui, and the underwater Mahri Nui storylines.
This lot features a near-complete original run, alongside complete secondary series runs, and includes an incredibly rare collector's variant in phenomenal condition.
COLLECTOR'S HIGHLIGHT: Brickmaster Issue #25 Exclusive Variant
• Included in this lot: The rare LEGO Brickmaster Exclusive Variant of Issue #25 ("Birth of the Rahaga").
• Artwork: Features the highly sought-after alternative cover art showcasing Toa Norik and Toa Iruini.
• Condition: Beautifully preserved 9/10 condition. It has been meticulously cared for, crisp, flat, and an absolute crown jewel for any serious BIONICLE archive.
What’s Included in This Lot:
1. The Main Series (Near Complete Run)
• Issues #1 through #11
• Issues #13 through #27 (Includes the #25 Brickmaster Variant!)
•⚠️Missing Only 1 Issue from Print Run: This main run is missing only Issue #12 ("Absolute Power") from May 1st, 2003.
2. BIONICLE: Ignition Series (COMPLETE RUN)
• Includes the full Ignition arc detailing the high-stakes Toa Inika and Voya Nui storyline.
• Note on Ignition #6: As hardcore fans know, Ignition #6 ("Web Comic") was strictly a digital-only release in English and never part of the physical US/UK magazine run (only receiving a rare physical print in Germany). For this obvious reason, a physical English copy is not present, making this a complete set by standard English release history!
3. BIONICLE: Barraki Series (COMPLETE RUN)
• Includes the full Barraki sea-mutant arc detailing the deep-sea Mahri Nui lore.
4. The Final 7 Issues (COMPLETE)
• Includes the final 7 consecutive issues that wrapped up the legendary comic book saga.
Condition Details
• Issue #25 Variant: Exceptionally high-grade condition (9/10). Flat spine, sharp corners, vibrant colors.
• Main Lot Story Pages: All pages across the lot are intact, crisp, and fully readable.
• General Wear: These are vintage comics distributed through LEGO Magazine. Number 1 is in very rough shape, all others are moderately used. Expect minor shelf wear, light spine creasing, or edge wear typical of handled inserts. Please look closely at the high-resolution photos to judge the exact condition. Any questions about specific issues I will provide more pictures.
