Ulla Procopé (1920–1998) was one of Finland’s leading ceramic artists in the 20th century. She was part of the Nordic design tradition aiming for more beautiful every day goods for everybody. After her art studies at the Central School of Art and Design in Helsinki, Ulla worked for the Arabia factory for 20 years. Ulla artistry is represented at the numerous museums in the Nordic countries.
Founded in 1873, Arabia of Finland has become one of the most renowned and highly regarded manufacturers of porcelain dishes in the world.
