Up for sale is a period-correct, authentic U.S. military issue set featuring a Korean War-era Imperial M5 Bayonet paired with a late-WWII BMCo M8 Scabbard.
Scabbard Details:
- Manufacturer: Beckwith Manufacturing Company (BMCo)
- Throat Marking: U.S. M8
- Body Stamping: B-9N (Victory Plastics molding)
- Canvas: Dark Olive Drab (OD #7), original condition.
- Hardware: Metal snap functions perfectly with zero tearing around the canvas.
Bayonet Details:
- Model: U.S. M5 (Fits M1 Garand)
- Manufacturer: Imperial Knife Company (1953-1954 production)
- Mechanism: Release button works smoothly.
- Condition Note: Blade shows visible grind marks from a past sharpening (see photos), removing some of the original parkerized finish. The tip and edge are sharp.
