what a treasure this is! a hand crafted \'trug\' gathering basket, made by UK artist, Jane Crisp. it\'s in fantastic pre-owned condition, with no issues to speak of.
this piece is made from strips of steamed & then hand bent slats of natural ash wood. it\'s then held together with hammered copper rivets.
this is a gorgeous little work of art. it\'s sculptural, and can be strictly decorative. but it can also be utilitarian, if one would choose to use it that way.
what a unique & lovely piece of handmade art! enjoy!
