Original U.S. Model 1904 Hospital Corps bolo knife marked S A with flaming bomb and 1908 on one side of the blade, and U.S. 8236 on the reverse. Wood grip with metal rivets, curved brass-tone guard, and attached lanyard cord. No scabbard included.
Condition
Pre-owned antique military collectible condition. Blade shows heavy age patina, oxidation, staining, pitting, surface rust, scratches, and wear. Wood grip shows age cracks/splitting and wear, including chipping/damage near the butt end and lanyard area. Guard and hardware show tarnish, dents, and surface wear. Item has not been polished or restored.
