Beautiful and contemporary handcarved monkey (species unidentified, possibly a mico bebeleche, a type of tamarin common near the home of the woodcarver) carved out of one single piece of wood, in warm heartwood.Handmade in Amazonas, Colombia by Alirio Liberato. Alirio was recently awarded the Medalla de Arte Tradicional by the Colombian government; he was selected as winner out of 900 applicants. We are very lucky to be working with him!
