• This saw is made by Thomas Flinn of Sheffield England the last traditional saw and plane maker in the UK.
• Saw has a 10 long x 1-5/8 inch wide x 0.020 inch thick saw plate. Set is on one side of the saw palte only. Overall kerf is 0.026 inches wide.
• Saw plate has a .500 inch wide x 0.160 inch thick solid brass rolled back which stiffens the blade for smooth and accurate cutting.
• The solid walnut handle is 1-1/4 inches in diameter and 5 inch long. Handle had solid brass ferrule.
• The saw plate is made from high carbon allow steel for durability and ease of sharpening. Comes with 15 TPI. Teeth can be resharpened.

This Reversible Gent’s Saw has been made in such a way to facilitate the left and right-handed worker. The cranked walnut handle allows cutting into the most awkward of corners with ease. The back is rolled solid brass and 1/2 inch wide by 0.160 inch thick. The folded brass back means the blade is held under tension offering excellent rigidity and balance. The saw plate is 0.020 inches thick with set on one just side of the blade. The handle is made from solid Walnut. Overall blade width is 1-5/8 inches with maximum cutting capacity of 1 inch. The blade has 15 TPI. Saw plate is made from high carbon allow steel for durability and ease of sharpening. The teeth can be resharpened.
