First launched in 1868,The Cornell Erawas the university’s first student publication. It ceased publication in 1924, then was resurrectedfor a short timein the 1940s, before ending for good.
Acquired from the estate of the granddaughter-in-law of Max F. Schmitt, Cornell Class of 1924. Schmitt began serving as a manager of The Cornell Era in December 1922. Over the coming weeks, we\'ll be listing 11 additional issues of this publication from 1922–1923, along with other Cornell ephemera from Mr. Schmitt\'s extensive collection.
