Tarnfarben Vol. 3 Camouflage Painted Relics of the German Forces in WWII For Sale

Tarnfarben Volume 3 by Oliver Lock is a highly anticipated hardback release and the final instalment in the acclaimed Tarnfarben series. Following the overwhelming success of Volumes 1 and 2, demand for a third book was immense — and with such an extensive archive of original material, this volume was an essential addition.

Building on the foundations laid by the previous titles, Tarnfarben Volume 3 continues to explore the fascinating world of German camouflage, field equipment, and painted artefacts. Readers will find an exceptional array of field signage, personal gear, and, of course, more helmets — each meticulously photographed and presented in stunning full colour. Every piece is accompanied by insightful commentary and historical context, offering a deeper understanding of paint application methods and the techniques employed during the period.

This volume serves as an invaluable resource for collectors, model makers, restorers, and historians alike. It provides not only a visual study of rare and authentic items but also a comprehensive reference for those seeking to expand their knowledge of camouflage finishes and wartime craftsmanship.

Volume 3 stands as a fitting conclusion to Oliver Lock’s Tarnfarben series — an exciting and informative work that cements the trilogy’s place as an essential reference in the field of militaria research and collecting.
