New Old Stock set of 5 vintage Japanese yunomi (tea cups) by Tachikichi
(橘吉), a Kyoto tableware maker with over 270 years of history dating to
1752 - one of the most recognized names in Japanese pottery and
porcelain. Each cup is hand-painted with a delicate pink sakura (cherry
blossom) branch, finished with gold accent detailing, and marked on the
base in gold with the Tachikichi name.
Never used, presented in the original wooden box, individually wrapped
in cloth as packed at the factory. The box lid is inscribed in brush
calligraphy with a red seal.
Condition: New/unused, straight from original packaging. Please see
