This vintage TOPS Club Inc. crown award pin is a piece of organizational memorabilia from Take Off Pounds Sensibly, the long-running nonprofit weight-loss support organization. Rather than simply being a decorative crown brooch, the piece relates to TOPS Club’s Royalty tradition recognizing members who reached their goal weight and were honored within the organization.
The silver tone crown is prominently lettered TOPS across the front and accented along its points with an assortment of colorful rhinestones in red, green, champagne, amber, blue and clear tones. Within TOPS traditions, crown and royalty awards were associated with members who successfully reached goal weight, with King and Queen recognition used at chapter and other organizational levels. The colorful stones add another layer of achievement symbolism to an already meaningful award piece.

Very good vintage pre-owned condition with light surface wear consistent with age and previous use.
