Mothershed-Wair was a member of the famous Little Rock Nine, who figure into a famous civil rights case (Brown v. Board of Education) from the 1950s.Mothershed-Wair is the eldest member of the group.
The provenance is that I sent this photo to Mothershed-Wair via the Little Rock Nine Foundation in Little Rock, Arkansas, and she signed it.Given the shaky nature of the signature, it’s highly unlikely that a secretary signed the photo.
The item comes with a copy of the return envelope.
