“THE BREATH OF LIFE TABLET”
OJUELOS DE JALISCO RESEARCH COLLECTION
Presented here is an extraordinary double-sided engraved stone tablet associated with the greater Ojuelos de Jalisco mystery.

The tablet is formed from the distinctive multicolored stone material repeatedly observed throughout many of the larger Ojuelos pieces in my research collection. Cream, burgundy, reddish-purple, gray, and mineral-rich areas flow through the body of the stone, creating a highly unusual natural visual signature.
Each corner contains a deep angled cut reminiscent of the notching seen on projectile points and ceremonial arrowhead forms, giving the tablet an immediately Indigenous-inspired character.
FRONT: THE BREATH OF LIFE
One side appears to depict a human or humanoid figure seated in a meditative, cross-legged position.
A small foot remains visible beneath the body, reinforcing the impression that the figure is sitting in prayer or meditation.
The figure wears an elaborate crown or headdress and appears to carry a detailed solar-style symbol on its back.
One hand is opened toward a central turquoise-colored stone inlay.
The stone could symbolically represent a crystal, seed, egg, planetary energy, genetics, knowledge, or ceremonial offering.
Most striking is what emerges from the figure's mouth.
A long curved engraving extends outward like a deliberate breath glyph, accompanied by two circular marks. It could represent breath, speech, smoke, prayer, energy, or an altered-state ceremony.
One possible interpretation is that the figure is entering a visionary or multidimensional state through controlled breathing, sacred smoke, an entheogenic ceremony, or another ritual practice.
That interpretation remains speculative.
THE SPIRIT DOG
Beneath the seated figure appears a canine-like animal.
The animal is especially fascinating because its body seems to open into another small humanoid or spirit-like form.
This creates the visual impression of a spirit emerging from the animal, transformation, or communication between the human, animal, and unseen realms.
Dogs have served as guides, companions, guardians, and psychopomp figures in numerous ancient traditions, although no specific cultural identification is being claimed here.
CELESTIAL BIRTH / PLANETARY FIGURE
Above the scene is another circular form that can be interpreted as a planet or celestial sphere.
A bird-like or humanoid figure appears to emerge from it.
The figure seems equipped with an elaborate backpack, headdress, wing structure, or technological apparatus.
The entire side therefore forms an extraordinary sequence:
Meditation → breath → crystal exchange → animal/spirit transformation → celestial emergence.
REVERSE: THE EXCHANGE
The opposite side continues the narrative.
The canine figure appears again, but now with its head raised upward as if observing the interaction above.
Two elaborate humanoid beings face one another.
The figure on the left has unusual projections above its head that visually resemble antennae, leading to an intriguing comparison with insect-like or “ant being” imagery.
Both figures wear elaborate ceremonial or royal-looking apparel.
One appears to hold an object between them.
This scene may represent exchange, communication, initiation, offering, transfer of knowledge, or the opening of a symbolic seed or egg.
It is especially interesting when compared with the first side, where the central object remains intact in the seated figure's hand.
The reverse almost seems to show the next stage of the story: the object being examined, opened, activated, or exchanged.
A DOUBLE-SIDED STORY
Rather than two unrelated engravings, both sides appear visually interconnected.
One possible reading is:
Human meditation → breath activation → crystal or seed offering → contact with another realm → transformation → encounter → exchange of information.
Whether the imagery concerns mythology, spiritual initiation, celestial beings, ancestry, altered consciousness, genetics, or ceremonial symbolism remains unknown.
THE GREATER OJUELOS MYSTERY
This tablet contains many themes repeatedly observed throughout the broader Ojuelos material: elaborate beings, celestial spheres, unusual technology-like forms, animal guides, crystals, ceremonial posture, and scenes of exchange.
No definitive archaeological date, extraterrestrial origin, or literal translation is being claimed.
It is offered as a collectible research object associated with the continuing Ojuelos de Jalisco mystery.
