Offering an impressive TALAMONA, ELITE model, from Italy. Hand Made, and of high-quality briar, here’s some info on the maker: The brand Talamona born in 1970 fruit of the work of Cesare Talamona an artisan in Oltrona. Once Cesare withdrew from the market to the venerable age of 85 years old, he entrusted everything to Paolo Croci, in 2007 acquires the brand, and in 2010 start the limited production, respecting the will of Cesare Talamona. All the pipes are with a high quality, handmade and in generous size.
The pipe has a clean profile, larger volume bowl, and is impressive to the eye. The bowl shows off straight or flame grain along around the bowl, and no fills, no issues. The interior is nicely seasoned, and is fairly big, with depth at 1 3/4” deep and about 7/8” in diameter at the top. Stem is original, made of tortoise style acrylic, has a logo inset on the top, a hint of tooth wear on bottom by button. The pipe feels good in the hand, and it weighs in about 2.44 ounces, 69.1 grams, draw well. The pipe has been freshly polished, it’s ready to smoke!
