COMPANY INFO:

 

DON HUME, of MIAMI OKLAHOMA has been a holster maker for over 50 years with a bent towards law enforcement equipment. The make an excellent holster, and are well known throughout the midwest.

 

He worked at varius times with the likes of ELMER KEITH, BILL JORDAN and others inholster designs and patents.

The biggest footnote in Holster History would probably be the development and marketing of the BILL JORDAN BORDER PATROL design, and having it overseen by Bill himself, a personal friend of Don Hume.

Hume continues today with a full line of police and sportsman holsters.

This is the LAST of them...I won't have any more in the foreseeable Future
This is for 1 (one) NEW, old factory stock MODEL B109, DON HUME, of Miami Ok,
Leather Belt
THIS ONE HAS A FULL FINISHED LINING

Deep Cordovan Brown embossed leather, made by Hume under contract for the USNPS
This was the one of the styles used, with official uniforms, embossed with a repeating pattern of (Sequoia) Pine Cones and branches.  These are a more detailed branch style.   The background was textured...and these are USA made back in the late 1990s'
The BUCKLE is SQUARED, BRASS  and snaps out with blacked out snaps for replacement or cleaning.
The belt is 1.5" Wide.
The back of the belt is smoothed and waterproof coated.
I don't know if new ones are made the same, or in the USA, but this is top quality USA work from a generation ago.

It bears the DON HUME logo and is marked

The belt is ABOUT 38.5" Long
There are 5 fastening holes
From Buckle to Nearest Hole = 30.5"
Buckle to Middle Hole = 32.5"
Buckle to Far Hole 34.5"

However, DON'T go by your pants or  waist size.
Measure yourself with pants on and make sure this is the right size for you.
